At Wedding Photography Select, we don't just want to show you the best images from the best wedding photographers around the world. We want to tell you a little story behind them as well. The idea, the execution, the result. As this section grows, we want to give you an in depth description of each of the shots taken by some of the very best wedding photographers. We hope it proves to be inspiring and insightful.

Bored with the traditional style of italian weddings, I define my photographic style as "Creative & Editorial Photojournalism" where spontaneous moments join modern and fashion portraits. That's what all my clients want!
I'm based in Sulmona, Italy, a small town famous worldwide for its confetti.
I love the natural light. A large amount of my pictures are taken in natural light by my DSLR camera (Canon Eos 5D Mark III, Canon Eos 5D Mark II). Only in particular situations i use a video light or a wireless flash (formal portraits) to have a better control of the light.
This picture is an example of portrait of bride & groom where I used a wireless flash light, in the car centrally behind the couple. During the location inspection the days before the wedding I discovered this fantastic glimpse. I made this shot immediately after the ceremony, few minutes after the “golden hourâ€.
The image was taken in the beautiful medieval village of Celano (Abruzzo,Italy)
I used a Canon Eos 5D Mark II on a tripod with Canon EF 24-70mm F2.8 L lens at 1/15 | F4 | ISO 1600
Flash Canon 580EX II at 1/16 of power
I retouched it in Adobe Lightroom 5 and Adobe Photoshop CS5 (Color Correction, Contrast, Sharpening).
The image has been much appreciated from the couple and it's part of their wedding album.
