Wedding Photographer Murcia, Spain. Raul Pageo shares a wedding photography technique.

I began my career in TV but photography was always my passion. From a child I grew up surrounded with a cinematography, my grandfather was a projectionist and my father introduced my brothers and me to the love of celluloid. My photographic style is influenced by the cinematographic vision of the scene, I adore creating from the simple-mindedness, where the light and the ambiance join the couples that I photograph. My profession is not a salary at the end of month, it is a lifestyle which I enjoy entirely.

I realized this photo last summer, it is a place away from my studio, I was looking for a surrounding environment with a big difference between lights and the shades. The location is very important in my photo, that's why I had already explored the place in the winter months but the trees had no leaves and the sensation was similar to a forest drawn by Tim Burton than an intimate surrounding and place, so I waited 6 months.

The position of the couple is placed like that because I wanted to obtain more depth and perspective with the trunks of the trees, taking the line straight to the couple.

A 5DMKII was used, ISO640, F5,6 1/125s, 70mm, Flash 580EXII off camera. Strobist

I measured the light for the background and illuminated the couple from behind with the flash in manual, synchronized to 1/125s and zoom aperture in 24mm.

I used the DPP of Canon to process the RAW, burning one more point in the image, the image doesn't have any more post processing.

I am much satisfied by the final image, I believe that I obtained the ambiance that I wanted for the photo, and this intimate and mysterious aura that the outline produces with the use of the flash. It is brilliant, the couple were pleased with this image, they have a big copy in the house.
