I was looking for a creative place to hang the dress and the venue did not help...
Then I looked up and saw the lights and shapes that could give me a good composition. The bride helped me hang her dress and with that the picture began to have more meaning for her!
I didn't face any difficulties with this shot. I had only to climb in a chair available in the room! The greatest difficulty is being creative with these types of shots. I thought about symmetry and shapes from the start.
Shot with a Canon 5D Mark II, 16-35mm f/2.8 L (at 16mm) using matrix metering. I was down low and near the floor, trying to get the maximum symmetry. With the 16mm lens you need a lot of attention, because it has some distortions if not used correctly
Processed in Lightroom turning RAW into JPG and some vignetting.
The couple loved the shot! First, because the bride helped me to prepare the scene and later as the image was awarded in a wedding photography contest.
