At Wedding Photography Select, we don't just want to show you the best images from the best wedding photographers around the world. We want to tell you a little story behind them as well. The idea, the execution, the result. As this section grows, we want to give you an in depth description of each of the shots taken by some of the very best wedding photographers. Mindart Photography
Mindart Photography is a team of wedding photographers based in Athens, Greece. Our goal is to capture "the moments" in a wedding and narrate the story via our icons. Photographers-founders are Despina Kremastiotis,Olga Kremastiotis and Sotiris Stampoulidis. We do have colleagues in shooting and editing stages.We do destination weddings for Greek or foreign couples throughout Greece.
When photographing a couple our challenge is to find new angles, to take at least one shot that we haven't done before.
Mindart shot this couple's wedding, in Athens. We had the location session in a suburb next to the sea. We decided to go to a place near the sea that the groom had in mind. As we were walking we saw a little wooden bridge. We had some shots with them on top of the bridge and then I thought to go under the bridge, from there I saw the groom between the wooden rails. That's when I got the idea to place each of them in one rail. It took me about 5 minutes to place them in the right place, I took ten shots to get this particular one. The couple didn't have any idea what i was doing under the bridge and they were so curious to see the final result. When I went close to them and let them see from the display they got excited from the result.So did i!
We are fan of Nikon cameras; for this shot we used a D3s with a 35/f,2 ISO 200, at f,4 and 1/1250.
I metered on the face with spot metering,processed with Ligthroom 5,4 and VSCO Fuji 400H
