Hi. We are Graziano & Melinda and we work together under the name Grazmel Photography.
We consider ourselves wedding photojournalists, but it's not completely correct because we also love the creative shooting part, so we work in a mix of these styles.
This photo was taken after the the bride threw her bouquet and just before the groom was going to remove the garter from the bride. Well, this little boy suddenly jumped at the ground, 'looking for the garter', creating a funny and hilarious situation, and at the same time I understood that this was going to be one of those special and funny moments that must be absolutely caught, so I also jumped at the ground with him!
Of course there wasn't much time to think about the settings, I just scrolled down the diaphragm, so to be sure to have a fast time and a sharp photo.
This is the Exif data: Nikon D600, 35mm 1.4, 1/400, f/1.6, ISO 100, Spot.
The post production was simple, I crop a little bit to fit better the frame with the subject, and then I converted manually to B/W because I thought it would be better in black and white than colour, it focuses the eyes better on the subject and this was a very funny moment during the day.
