I'm from the city of São José do Rio Preto in São Paulo, Brazil and photographing weddings for 10 years. A Brazilian photographer who loves photographing the excitement and joy of weddings. I enjoy doing what I do and I always try to tell the real story and an unforgettable way.

I asked the bride if she could be ready 40 minutes ahead of schedule so I could get the shot calmly. Brides rushing to get to the church always have a look of worry upon their faces that can ruin a kill shot. The secret is to talk first with the bride and explain how important it is to have a special photo and you need a bit of time for a more elaborate picture.

A big hit in this photo was the decision to convert the image to black and white leaving an air of sophistication. In making this shot I had the opportunity to make a picture that delighted the bride, a wonderful picture that leaves the bride looking enchanted. The photo was taken with a Canon 5D MKII and Canon 24-70 2.8 lens. Focused on the bride's face where the light was more intense not to lose details. This was done using a reflection mirror at 45 degrees. I used Lightroom to tone, curves and definition.

A filter from Portraiture was also used. This photo was very successful on Facebook and was highly praised in global forums and associations of photographers. I am very happy to have been chosen and praised by the WPS team.
