My name is Dmitri and I am wedding photographer based in Toronto, Canada. I’ve been shooting weddings around the globe for more than 10 years.

During the wedding day I often look for the subjects that may add some spark to the wedding. Sometimes it’s an old person, sometimes it’s a fun group of guests.

At this wedding I saw an adorable kid who was really shy and was holding his mother’s hands at all times and I just wanted to capture him.

This particular photo was taken during the garden ceremony at the Blue Mountain Resort in Ontario, Canada. During the post processing, I manually converted to black and white in Lightroom. Black and white processing was chosen so that the image would have more emotional impact without the distraction of the colors in the image.

I used Canon 70-200L 2.8 lens and 5D III camera in fully manual mode, to capture the photograph.
