Hi my name is Clara Sampaio and I love photograph. Photography is my life! The energy present at weddings motivates me to seek elements to tell stories of love in a unique and unforgettable way.
Our base is located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but we photograph inside and outside the country.
I always observe the environment in search of new angles, new compositions. This way I can show to the couple their wedding from a different point of view while I produce a richer and creative narrative. This super beautiful ceremony took place in a cottage of wood and glass, the edge of a lake in mountains of Teresopolis. The wall directly in front of the couple was formed of glass and trunks stacked wood.
When I realized the potential of the place, positioned myself outside the cottage, and glued the camera between the logs of wood. I asked for my light assistant to be positioned at 45 degrees of the couple (in front of the glass) and waited for the moment. When they looked at each other and smiled I pressed the shutter button.
The click was made using the Canon EOS 6D and Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L lens USM with shutter speed 1/180s, f/4.5 and ISO 1000, spot metering. The post processing was simple, just reduce the highlights and raised a little image contrast in Ligthroom.
I liked very much the result, I hope you too!
