Hi, I'm Braulio Lara a passionate wedding photographer. I travel all over the world shooting weddings, I love what I do and I enjoy it very much!
This photograph was taken in Chile, in the city of Arica, near the beach that afternoon the sky was beautiful, I wanted a striking picture of the sky and decided to leave the couple in a silhouette. I took many photographs, light and dark, but this was the one I liked best. It was taken with a Nikon D700 and an 50mm 1.8, speed: 200 and 5.6 aperture exposing the shot more on the sky.
I chose the silhouette because I wanted to strip everything away from this image leaving the sky and two loving bodies in the frame, sometimes less is more.
The shot was one of 15 taken in total and in post I saturated colors, and added contrast and that was about it. Myself and the couple were very happy and then you know you've done your job right. They loved all the wedding pictures I presented to them.
