At Wedding Photography Select, we don't just want to show you the best images from the best wedding photographers around the world. We want to tell you a little story behind them as well. The idea, the execution, the result. As this section grows, we want to give you an in depth description of each of the shots taken by some of the very best wedding photographers. We hope it proves to be inspiring and insightful.

The idea behind this shot is to create a beautiful and romantic moment for the couple with soft pastel colours and to make it look almost painterly.

The light blue in this shot was created by the reflection from the sky through the large window in front of the couple.

This was captured on a Nikon D800 with 50mm 1.4 lens.

Colour was corrected in Lightroom and a very light texture added in Photoshop.

This is one of my favourite image because it looks almost like a painting with a romantic touch to it.
