We are Ana and Daniel! We are friends, husband and wife, mother and father in our daily life and a team in our professional life. Together we are known as FotoDumbrava, PhotoDumbrava, because our name is Dumbrava like the dictionary, a young forest full of wonderful surprises.
For almost 9 years we captured people in love. We started slowly, step by step and now we are involved 100% percent in what we do. We are mainly shooting weddings and baptisms but we like to accept any challenge! What we do is a lifestyle not just a job! It’s an everyday experience of life, is it a continuous development. It’s a gift to be part at one of the most important moments in life, the wedding or the baptism. Our wedding photography is simple and natural. We like to create something beautiful in every wedding, but also to capture the uniqueness of each one. Something of our style, something of the couples style, something of the wedding vibe, some luck and faith and we'll succeed to make the best of it.
We loved this picture from the moment we took it. It was the engagement day of Anca and Cristi and after they said 'Yes' we went to a place full of pigeons. A park in the middle of the city. It was very crowded but the sky seemed so peaceful and no limits and we took advantage of it. We've brought a bag full of wheat and all the pigeons came to eat it. While they were eating we told Cristi to kiss Anca but in some way that we could see the faces of both of them in a natural position. The sun was perfect for the photo and after Daniel took the picture Ana clapped her hands and the pigeons flew. This picture was taken with the 16-35 mm lens, a perfect lens for amazing photos.
