Catalin Anghel
Based in Timisoara, Romania, with a love of travelling to amazing destinations to document your biggest day of your life. I fell in love with the photography while I was working in the TV industry. I left the TV industry because there was always a barrier there and it didn't allow me to express creativity. I started my own company which I founded with my brother. He is the video guy and one of the best steady cam operators you'll find and very serious when it comes to making films.
When we captured this images, we were in the room where the groom was getting ready. I asked him for all the accessories he had, buttons, belt, shoes, bow-tie e.t.c to photograph. I shot this image whilst the groom was getting his pants and shirt on :). The Music was really loud so we could hardly hear each other. I remembered the bride telling me that the wedding rings were at the grooms home. We were already late so everything was moving very quickly. I dropped the rings on the shiny red table situated in the middle of the room and shot a few frames. The rings were centered (subject is in the center of the photo) as I always do with the rings. The groom didn't have time or the patience for me to shoot some creativ ideas, so he rushed to grab them and leave to get to the wedding ceremony. I saw him coming and I was aware of the reflection on the surface of the table and I was waiting for the right time, where he would bend to get them, he was still talking to me, telling me that we were late :-). 'I nailed it' I said with a big smile on my face. I knew right away this will be one of my best shots of the day.
