You can see the bride in this shot celebrating with her bridesmaids. It is almost the end of the wedding party and she is drinking from two different beverages and just having a great time. Before this shot I noticed the bridesmaids doing the same. I knew or had a good feeling that the bride would follow so I ran over to them all. I waited until the bride took here turn, I had the my camera focused on her and shot maybe 7 different shot. I choose this image because of the vodka on her neck and the drops are the clearest and stand out, especially when converted to black and white.
I was very close to her, maybe 1 metre away. I wanted to have more than the bride in the composition, so I tried to include to the best friend on the left. This image was shot using the Canon 5D MarkIII, Sigma 35mm f/1.4,( f/5.6, 1/30, ISO 800) Canon 580EX (1/128, zoom 35mm). I was able to meter the shot before I got this final image because I was ready beforehand and in position shooting the bridesmaids.
The bride is a very expressive and fun person, so she loved this image. It is part of a real wedding day and real moments that happen during a wedding day. A good wedding photographer is always watching and waiting for these moments, sometimes anticipating them before they happen.

I like to work totally free and capture the day in a documentary style, looking only tell the story. But some details are very important to this story, then you have to capture the
