Real weddings from real wedding photographers & real couples around the world.
Tell us a little about yourself??We are a couple, woman and man, living and working together. We've worked in the world of Photography together some years ago, then we decided to transform this passion into our job.
How do you think or would like people to describe you?We are professional but also really friendly, we like to get in touch with our couples and sometimes they become our friends.
Tell us a little bit about the wedding day?We capture every details of the wedding day, from the getting ready to the party. We work as observers, without forcing the situation, trying to capture all the best moments and also all the things that the bride and groom dont’t see during the day.
How did you get into wedding photography? We got into wedding photography because we felt that the wedding day is the most complete event, full of different emotions and rich opportunities for the photographer: you can take portrait, overview, detail, actions, everything is there on a wedding day!
How long have you been a wedding photographer? This is the 4th year.
Can you share how you've made your wedding photography business a success? Any mistakes you made along the way?We really don’t know! We started as it was a passion and continued for the same reason. The success is the point between your passion and the bride and groom’s desires.
What do you think a bride or groom should be looking for and not looking for in terms of wedding photography packages? We think the most important elements on which a bride couple should turn their attention to is the quality and the style of the pictures (do you really LOVE them?); the coverage of the day (how many hours will the photographer stay at the wedding day?) and the number of pictures he’s going to delivery. 100? 500?. But the quality and the style are the hearth of the photography.
How do you advertise yourself and what for you has really worked? We are featured on different wedding websites, associations and vendor sites. We think that the combination of all these elements can give us good results.
Why do you think people hire you?We think or we hope they hire us because they see something in our pictures that makes go “wow!â€!
How many weddings do you average per year?About 30.
Whose wedding would you love to shoot? No one in particular. The best wedding is the one in which bride and groom are really in love and the guests are in harmony with them.
If you were asked to shoot a destination wedding, where would you hope it would be?We really love to travel and discover new places, but we left our heart in New York City!
What equipment do you have for a typical wedding day?We have two Canon 5D Mark II and one Canon 5D as backupâ€. We use 24mm F1.4 L, 35mm F1.4, 50mm F1.4, 85mm F1.8, 17-40 F4 L, 70-200mm F4L.
What is the most challenging thing about a wedding.
Do you have an approach to a wedding? We think that everything beautiful is in front of us: we just have to catch it our own different way, to communicate real emotions.
Who or what inspires you?Everything can beinspirational: the nature, the painting and of course the Photography and the photographer of Today and of the past.
Best & Worst marketing idea so far?n/a
If you weren't a photographer, what would you be?Travelers!
Share your favourite image of the day and why? This is our favourite picture because of the composition: subjects are put in the center and surrounded by vertical lines, as they are and the bride and groom are looking at each other with love and sweetness.
Do you have any goals for the future photography related or otherwise? Our goal is to stabilize and improve our work.
What do you think is key to being a successful wedding photographer? As in every activity, I think it’s a mix of different factors: passion and competence that make you stand out from others, first of all, tenacity and a pinch of lucky!
Are there any other wedding photographers whose work inspires you, can be a well know photographer or somebody you've stumbled across?Of course! There are many greats photographer we love. In Italy Alessandro and Veronica Roncaglione, Gianluca and Mary Adovasio, Carlo Carletti and so on… In the rest of the world Ben Chrisman, Tony Hoffer, Jeff Ascough and so on.
Proudest moment so far. Photography related or otherwise?n/a
