Tell us a little about yourself??

I started with photography at the age of 12 when I got my first camera. Since this day I can't life without photography. I capture weddings in documentary style and love to show all the emotions and happy people in my pictures. My passion is shooting portraits in a unique, artful and creative way.

Tell us a little bit about the wedding day?

The day started warm and sunny and we had lot of luck because the weather forecast announced rain for the whole day. It keeps trying to rain until the end of the ceremony and we decided to start quick with the portraits. After a few minutes it began raining. The countess allows us to continue the shoot in her private rooms in the castle. The party was great, all guest where very good temper.

What do you think a bride or groom should be looking for and not looking for in terms of wedding photography packages?

I Think it is important that the photographers makes a selection of all captured pictures and edits them all, so that clients get perfect results but prior to that the couple should look at the portfolio like what they see. Then they should look at the character of the photographer and if they like him.

Most clients books based on referrals from brides and grooms of previous weddings or they've seen me on previous weddings. Also good for advertising is an inspiring website and not to forget social networks

I work with two Canon EOS 5D Mark III and different lenses from 8 mm up to 200 mm. I prefer working with available light, but I also use flash to add effects in some pictures or improve the light when it gets to dark.

What is the most challenging thing about a wedding.

Every wedding is a new challenge, because every wedding is different. You need a good instinct and reaction when you attend weddings, many moments are very short and appear suddenly.

Matt Stark image 14

Do you have an approach to a wedding?

Alertness... I take pictures from the wedding and the moments which happens. I'm like a observer and react when something happens. I try to forecast some moments and try to be on the right place at the right time.

Share your favourite image of the day and why?

We went out for some shoots in the twilight shortly before the dinner and it was fascinating because it was a very quiet moment with just the couple and my assistant. We shot some stunning pictures in a cool lighting setup.
