Wedding Photographer Catalunya Fotostudi shoots a wedding at La Cucanya, Barcelona, Spain
Real weddings from real wedding photographers & real couples around the world.
Tell us a little about yourself??I started working as a photographer on Cruises, and took my first wedding shots there. Back in Barcelona I decided to create my own photography company specialising in weddings. I really enjoy taking wedding shots and capturing those special moments.
How do you think or would like people to describe you?As a wedding photographer that can capture those moments of a lifetime.
Tell us a little bit about the wedding day?I like to meet the wedding couple, make them feel comfortable and just let them be themselves. This was them being themselves on their wedding day.
How did you get into wedding photography? As one of the Royal Caribbean professional photographers, taking pictures of couples getting married in Alaska, the Caribbean or on board the cruise ships.
How long have you been a wedding photographer? For more than 8 years.
Can you share how you've made your wedding photography business a success? Any mistakes you made along the way? From a wedding there is always another wedding, if they like your work and the way you treat them, they will recommend you.
What do you think a bride or groom should be looking for and not looking for in terms of wedding photography packages? They have to see what they want, what they really need. All wedding photographers are not the same and each one has the price they feel is correct for their work. Let the pictures be more important than the price. If you get a bad wedding photographer you will loose good memories for a lifetime.
How do you advertise yourself and what for you has really worked? What really works is people that recommend my work, but it's also very important to use social media as (Facebook, Google +, Twitter, etc) to reach as many people as possible.
Why do you think people hire you? They like me and the way I work.
How many weddings do you average per year?20 to 35 weddings
Whose wedding would you love to shoot?I don't know what wedding I would love to shoot but what I've always known is that I will not shoot a wedding of a friend. Because you don't enjoy the day and it's complicated to be a wedding photographer when everybody knows you.
If you were asked to shoot a destination wedding, where would you hope it would be?I don't have a special place, each wedding is special.
What equipment do you have for a typical wedding day?I use 2 DSLR cameras and love to shoot with a 35mm and a 50mm.
