At Wedding Photography Select, we like the stories behind the images told by real couple reminiscing about their wedding day. Our Day, Our Picture, Our Words is a chance for the bride or groom to tell us the story behind one image from their special day. Giving you insight into the images, the wedding photographer and all the emotions experienced throughout their wedding day. We hope it proves to be inspiring and insightful and just a good read over a cup of tea and a biscuit.

Our wedding day was more relaxed than we had expected. There were no complications (that I was aware of) so everything went smoothly. I was slightly nervous right before the church ceremony, but that soon disappeared once I saw Marcelo waiting there for me. It was definitely a very happy and special day that we will remember forever.
Lucas was amazing. We visited several wedding photographers before deciding on Lucas, but when we saw Lucas portfolio we decided on the spot. His photos are out of the ordinary, he manages to capture those beautiful moments that are not posed. We just fell in love with his work.He practically spent the whole day with us, but never got in the way. He helped us relax and the result can be seen in the photos. We felt extremely comfortable with him.
We were married in a church located near several vineyards, in a region of Brazil known for its wine. The view is amazing and since the town is really small, the ceremony was a big event happening there. The hotel where the wedding reception took place is also beautiful, the pathway to the entrance is really nice. The view of the vineyards is amazing, and we were blessed by a beautiful day and a perfect sunset during the cocktail reception that was served in the deck.
In this picture we were almost finishing our first dance when a video prepared by Marcelo was played. I was very surprised since I was not expecting this at all. The video was beautiful, he read the lyrics of a song and compared it to our life. It was perfect and very true. Listening to made me realize how blessed I was to be marrying this special person and as you can see, I am just very very happy.
My favourite part of the day was when we arrived at the wedding reception to be heartily welcomed by our family and friends. The whole day was full of different emotions.
