You're getting married. Yaaaaaay. Now it's time to get organised. As if you didn't have enough to do, finding your wedding photographer, your wedding venue and telling Jim Bob from accounts he can't sing Volarey at the wedding breakfast. That's right, lots to do. On your list, whether you decide to have it or not should be wedding insurance. You may not even be aware there is such a thing. At least now you do.
Do you need to have wedding insurance? That's up to you. Why would you want wedding insurance? That's easy. Just in case. There's a huge amount of planning involved in a wedding and cost. A lot of people decide to take out a policy just in case something should go wrong.
Insurance policies can cover a number of unplanned events, if anything should go wrong you can claim the costs. Shop around to find the best policies and read all the fine print. Prices can vary and like all other forms of insurance you can get the same deals at a fraction of the price. If you are keeping some items at your home, these items may already be covered by you contents insurance, if you have that. Always check with your insurer first.
The main thing to look for is that the cover of the cost of the wedding is covered. Can you imagine spending £10,000 on a wedding and at the last minute it all goes wrong, it would be a lot of money to lose.
As Chris Rock one said. Insurance should be called in case stuff happens, it was a lot funnier when he said it but you get the idea.
